Ná Ozzetti’s most recent CD, BALANGANDÃS, presents fresh arrangements to well known tunes by some of the most eminent brazilian composers of the 30´s to 50´s like Assis Valente, Dorival Caymmi and Braguinha, among others. Ná's interest in the work of these composers is a legacy of her early career when she was part of Grupo Rumo, which dedicated in early 1980 a series of concerts to this repertoire and recorded the LP Rumo aos Antigos (1981).

The music and arrangements were collectively developed by Ná and the musicians Dante Ozzetti (guitar), Mario Manga (guitar, tenor guitar and cello), Sergio Reze (drums) and Zé Alexandre Carvalho (acoustic bass), and resulted in a successful tour season throughout Brazil in 2008. The CD was finally recorded at the beginning of 2009 and is now being released by MCD, Ná’s recording partner since 2002. Recorded in a studio as a live-set, the album brings forth new arrangements to music that has been appreciated by brazilians and foreign lovers of our music for the last 60 years.
